Vicki Rae Pollock

November 21, 1952 ~ March 8, 2019 (age 66)

Vicki Rae Pollock, 66, of Duncan, OK died Friday, March 8, 2019 in Oklahoma City. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday March 13, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Duncan, with Pastor Bryan Pain officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.

The family will visit with friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00pm

Born November 21, 1952, in Blanchard, OK to Bob and Wynona Driskell, she was a resident of Duncan for the past 65 years.  She was retired from Halliburton after 20 years of service, most recently as an Manager of Human Resources.  She also served as the Chair of the Supervisory Board for Halliburton Employees Federal Credit Union, as well as the Board of Child Development Center for First Baptist Church where she was a member for sixty years. 

First and foremost, Mom was a devoted Christian and very much stayed active with various hobbies and community involvement including: serving her Church by singing in the choir, problem solving in Hall Class where she was a co-founder, reading (especially a good western), playing the piano, coaching others while playing UNO, reading maps, globe hopping, skydiving, cooking, going to the play with friends, and enjoyed creating new stained glass.  She also enjoyed all things Elvis, but most of all she found her calling by spoiling her five grand children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Driskell. 

Survivors include her mother, Wynona Driskell of Duncan, OK; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Amanda Pollock of Duncan and son and daughter-in-law Matt and Ashley Pollock of Edmond; a brother and sister-in-law Joe and Lea Ann Driskell of Sanford Fl; and five grandchildren, Channing, Dawson and Ella Pollock of Edmond and Ayden and Jordan Pollock of Duncan.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Harris, Phillip Johnson, Larry Woods, Steve Terrell, Tom Flanagan, Danny Leu, Marvin Terrell, Mack Brooks

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Judes Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
