Stephanie Ann Coskrey

August 29, 1971 ~ October 17, 2019 (age 48)

Tribute

Stephanie Ann Coskrey was born Aug, 29, 1971, in Nocona, Texas to Mildred Ann “Spoon” and Harold Ray Martin of Terral, Oklahoma. Stephanie passed from this life to be with her Lord Oct. 17, 2019.
Stephanie married Billy Coskrey Oct. 19, 2002, spending 17 happy years building a loving family and life together.
Stephanie graduated from Ryan High School in 1989 and Cameron University in 1995. She spent her life dedicated to people. Her first job was the Jefferson County Department of Human Services where she had numerous “grandmas” she helped on a daily basis. She then dedicated herself to raising her two boys, and nannying her nephew. Stephanie had recently returned to work at Stephens County DHS where she made many new friends.
Stephanie’s love of farming, raising watermelons and cantaloupes, was her favorite way to spend time with family. She was happiest when she was in the field planting, picking, loading, and throwing busted melons at each other. Many watermelon vendors that bought from the family would only let Stephanie stack for them. They said they never lost a melon on their way home when she stacked. Ethan and Nolan were raised in the field following the planter while their Mom and Aunt Robin were transplanting new plants. They’d walk many miles in hopes that one was missed, so they could wrestle to plant it. Ethan and Nolan have grown into Class-A melon hands under Stephanie’s direction.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her brother Jeffrey Martin, and father-in-law Bill Coskrey.
Stephanie leaves in love of her husband of 17 years, Billy and two proud sons, Ethan and Nolan Coskrey, of Duncan; her parents Harold and Midge Martin of Terral, Oklahoma, and mother-in-law Ruth Coskrey of Odessa, Texas; her sister-in-law Anita Martin, of Ryan, Oklahoma; her brother Kevin and his wife Heather Martin of Terral, Oklahoma; her sister Robin and her husband Craig Mock of Duncan, Oklahoma. She leaves many nephews, nieces and additional loved ones who knew her affectionately as “NeNe.”
