Raymond Chauncey Waldron, known to his friends as "Willow", "Lil Man" and "Ray", 46, of Duncan, OK passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday July 16 from 4:00pm - 7:00PM at the Don Grantham Funeral Home. Service and Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life with family and friends will be planned at a later date. Raymond was born to Richard and Marian 'Rightmire' Waldron on January 20, 1972, at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He went to school in Duncan and Comanche where he participated in band and choir. At the age of 16 he became a lifeguard at the Duncan Public Pool and Douglass Public Pool because one of his life passions was to help people. No matter his faults he was a good 'lil man', with a very big heart, and someone who loved his family and friends unconditionally, no matter what. Raymond was one of a kind who always lived life to the fullest and helped any and every person that came into his path in need. He was always the go to person when you needed a smile! Raymond is survived by his wife, Melanie Bates, children, Corbin Tanner Aldrich, Jeffery Don Bates, and Ryan Chauncey Waldron, his mother, Marian Ann Waldron, brother, Richard Dee Waldron; sister, Robyn Mae Allen; numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Chauncey and Evelyn 'White' Waldron, and Frank and Dorthy 'Pemberton' Rightmire; his father, Richard Chauncey Waldron; and three uncles and one aunt.
