Patricia Sue "Pat" Croker, age 74, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Friday December 22, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma surrounded by family.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm Thursday December 28, 2017 at the First Christian Church, Duncan, with the Rev. Arnold Nelson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Municipal Cemetery. Services are under the Direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home, Duncan.
Pat was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on March 16, 1943 to Beatrice and Mitchell Crook. She graduated from Velma Alma High School in 1962.
Pat owned and operated a ceramic shop for 5 years where moms, daughters and friends gathered for ceramic lessons and much more than that...timeless memories. It was old fashioned, good, clean fun for all ages. We still have people share stories about their memories and pieces created at the shop. After selling the ceramic shop, she worked as a CSR at Cable One for 21 years.
She was a loving Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Undoubtedly, she was her family's biggest cheerleader. All who knew her, knew the quickest way to spark a smile was to talk about her granddaughters. She loved to watch them play softball and attended every game, near or far, until she could no longer manage it. At that point, she enjoyed highlights through pictures, videos and post-game visits. She loved working in the yard, reading, puzzles and ANYTHING her granddaughters asked her to do. She certainly loved red power ranger snow cones on a hot summer day. She and best friend, Francine Lunde of Minnesota, loved Dancing with the Stars and would spend hours on the phone while watching it together. She loved daily devotionals, spending time in prayer and listening to the Gaither Brothers. Simply stated, she was kind, compassionate and selfless. She was and is our inspiration.
Pat is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Pam Abbe and Tammy and Kevin Faulkner; grandchildren: Berkley Faulkner, Sydney Faulkner and Ashley Abbe; great-grandchildren: Ayden Sanders and Kiley and Makayla Coker; a brother, Warren Crook; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Mitchell Crook; and five brothers, Gene, Lee, Joe, Don and Mike.
