Bobby Lou Burnett, 76, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away on Feb. 26, 2019.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday the 4th of March at the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Duncan, Oklahoma.
Bobby was born in Oklahoma City, to Donald and Mary Edna Burnett on November 26th 1942. She graduated high school at Lemesa High School in Lemesa, Texas. She retired in 2012 as a textile worker and seamstress for multiple textiles manufacturing companies including Hager Slacks and Basco Fine Leather Company.
Bobby is survived by four children Deedra Ann Hodges, spouse Harry Hodges of Albuquerque, NM. Denise Alane Thomas of Duncan, OK. David Alan Thomas, spouse Cindy Jill Thomas of Rio Rancho, NM. Jamie Lin Deaton, of Lawton, OK. She is also survived by nephews Kerwin Brocksmith who was very special to her, spouse Carley Brocksmith, Calvin Brocksmith, and David Earl Grice, spouse Sandy Grice and her nieces Brenda Velasquez, spouse Junior Velasquez, Pam Brocksmith, Mary Teresa Frankie, spouse Chris Frankie, and Sandy Jajtner. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandchildren Brye Alexander Garvin, Adam Christian Alan Thomas and her great nieces Maisy, Annie Kay, and Lucy Brocksmith.
Her true love was Dallas Cowboys football as well as her beloved OU Sooners. She loved to read and excelled at word search puzzles in her later years.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Brye Garvin, Adam Thomas, Jack Davis (who made sure she got to a Dallas game), Shon Moynihan, Brent Merrell, Cory Porter, Kevin Moore.
