Billie Jean (Foster) (Lane) Allen, 89, of Duncan, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord Wednesday Jan. 23, 2019. Funeral services will be 10:00am Saturday January 26 at Velma Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Travis Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at the New Velma Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home, Duncan. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Billie was born January 29, 1929 to Dick Foster and Jewell Davis Foster at Velma, Oklahoma. She married Leon Lane and he preceded her in death. To this union three sons, Finley, Ricky and Larry and three daughters, Deanna, Patsy and Leona were added. Billie later married Truitt Allen and he preceded her in death in 2014. Billie worked many years in housekeeping for several hospitals. Billie and Truitt owned and operated a café in Velma several years. They worked as gatekeepers at Lake Texoma before moving back to Humphrey Lake. Billie is survived by one daughter, Deanna Newman and husband Philip of Velma and two sons, Ricky Lane and wife Florita of Velma and Larry Lane and wife Linda of Miami, Oklahoma; a daughter-in-law Linda Kay Lane of Duncan; two sons-in-law; Lyndel Hines of Norman, Oklahoma and Lynn Prickett of Marlow, Oklahoma and a sister-in-law, Barbara Foster of Velma. Billie has 14 grandchildren: Randy Lane, Mike Lane, Melisa Newman Pineda, Mark Newman, Ronnie Lane, James Lane, Gina Prickett Thomison, Lori Prickett Totty, Pam Lane Nalley, Casey Lane, Jr. Parker, Amy Parker Graham, Laurie Parker Shultz and Stephens Crowe; 30 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members. Billie was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Calvin, Dick Jr., Milford (Buster) and Joe Dean; three sisters, Inez, Marie and Ruby Nell; a son, Finley Lane; and two daughters, Patsy Prickett and Leona Hines. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to: The Velma Assembly of God Building Fund or charity of choice.
