I was so saddened to see this notice today on the web. When I was in high school (class of '70, Comanche) Anita was one of those super-talented superstars we all looked up to. I think I even played the piano at her wedding . . . but I myself am so old and forgetful these days that maybe I've misremembered. God bless you, Anita, and God bless your family, and RIP. I'm sorry we didn't reconnect before you moved on.

I remember you as freshman football queen at CHS.
You were intelligent and genuine.

RIP, Anita

My sincerest condolences to your family. The Bible offers the best comfort and hope. It tells of the heartwarming promise to reunite familes by means of the resurrection. (John 11:23-25) No human will ever suffer again from the pain of sickness or death. (Revelation 21:3,4) At this time there will be peace on earth. (Psalm 37:9-11, 29) All of this will happen by means of the Kingdom for which Jesus taught us to pray. (Matthew 6:10)
