Jane Marie Ball

Jane Marie Ball, 88, and long-time resident of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away peacefully Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Duncan, with her church family by her side.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy L Wilson officiating. Service arrangements are under the care of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
Jane Marie Williams was born on February 6, 1929 in Riverton, Kansas to Leo Williams and Lora (Harvey) Williams. She graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1951 with a bachelor’s degree in Education. She taught High School English in Frontenac, Kansas. She married the love of her life Charles “Bud” Ball on June 10, 1951. She loved being the wife of a coach and their travels around the country, she enjoyed taking care of children, growing cactus, sewing and quilting at Immanuel Baptist Church and watching OU Football.
In later years, she and her husband Bud opened and operated Bud’s E-Z Shop in Duncan from 1985 to 1995.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Steve and Kay Ball, Stan and Mignon Ball, all of Edmond, OK, Barbara and Mark Spradlin of Duncan and Amy and David Wilk of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie and Kyle Nevels, Sara Michael, Samantha Ball, Haley Spradlin, Jill and Luke Scott, Taylor and LuJack Whaley, Brax Ball, Patric Ball, Hayden Ball, Kemper Ball, Cooper Wilk and Hudson Wilk; her great grandchildren, Sophie Nevels, Campbell Jane Nevels, Burke Nevels, Canon Michael, Crew Michael, and Baylor Scott.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles “Bud” Ball, and her parents Leo and Lora Williams.
The family requests that Sooner Crimson colors, to honor their mother, be worn to the service.
